How TDGames.link handles your data.

Information you provide

When you create an account, TDGames.link stores the information needed to identify and protect that account:

• Username and display name.
• Email address.
• Password hash. Your raw password is not stored.
• Account creation time and recent login information.

Gameplay and saves

TDGames.link can save gameplay so you can continue a run later. Saved run data may include:

• Game, map, wave, freeplay state, score, currency, and core health.
• Tower positions, tower levels, targeting modes, active ability cooldowns, and map state.
• Enemy and wave state needed to resume the run.
• Short save summaries shown on your account page.

Guests use browser localStorage for local saves. Logged-in users may also have one account save slot per game. If you clear your browser data, guest saves may be lost.

Leaderboards and profiles

Public profiles are already part of the account system. Leaderboards are opt-in for public display. When you click Submit Score after clearing a map or ending freeplay, TDGames.link stores that submitted result as an account score. Your submitted best scores are private by default unless you enable public leaderboard display on your account. If public display is enabled, your display name, game, map, score, wave, ruleset, and submission date may be shown publicly.

Analytics and logs

TDGames.link uses Matomo analytics to understand site traffic and gameplay page usage. Analytics may record page views, browser/device information, referrers, approximate location derived from IP address, and interaction data such as link clicks.

The web server may also keep standard logs, including IP address, user agent, requested URL, timestamps, error messages, and security-related events. These logs help diagnose bugs, block abuse, and keep the service online.

Cookies and browser storage

TDGames.link uses cookies and browser storage for normal site features:

• Login sessions.
• CSRF/security protection.
• Local autosaves and local best scores.
• Analytics behavior from Matomo.

How the information is used

• To create and maintain accounts.
• To save and resume gameplay.
• To show account pages, profiles, private best scores, and opt-in public leaderboards.
• To improve maps, balance, performance, and usability.
• To detect abuse, cheating, spam, and attacks against the service.

Sharing

TDGames.link does not sell your personal information. Data may be shared only when needed to run the site, comply with legal obligations, protect the service, or investigate abuse.

Data choices

You can play as a guest without creating an account. You can clear local browser saves through your browser settings. Logged-in users can turn public leaderboard display on or off from the account page. You can also contact TDGames.link to request account deletion or data review.

Children

TDGames.link is not directed to children under 13. If an account appears to belong to a child under 13, it may be removed.
